Public speaking might be a piece of cake for you... but are you as comfortable as you think? Are you aware of your non-verbal communication? How do you solve the problem of a difficult crowd? Do large audiences intimidate you?
Perfecting your public speaking skills and reaching new heights in your communication will most definitely provide huge returns - in both your career and your life.
The Advanced Public Speaking Workshop at Skillz takes place in an exclusive, intimate setting - with no more than 7 participants! This ensures the dedicated attention that you deserve.
The Advanced Public Speaking Workshop at Skillz is 100% hands-on practice with direct trainer feedback, all in a casual and highly interactive group format.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
- Practice how to warm up your voice before a speech
- Learn how to choreograph any speaking occasion
- Incorporate connectives into your verbal content
- Recognize the distracting elements of your nonverbal communication
- Understand what makes you special as a speaker and build on it.
*A 5-minute speech/presentation prepared by the participants will be delivered during the workshop and is part of the learning process. The power-point/visuals should be send two working days prior to the workshop.
Certificates of participation are given out, as well as a video recording of your final speech/presentation with a detailed communication audit report by the trainer
*Participants must have attended the foundation Public Speaking workshop at Skillz or a similar workshop elsewhere or have experience in public speaking, to be eligible for registration.
